Magneto Syndrome

There are all types of villains with various powers, masks, and costumes. All that stuff is great to look at and talk about with excitement, but before we look at that we need to look at one of the most important attributes of a villain. Motive. The first question that we should ask when looking at a villain is, "Why is this particular villain, a villain?". No one just wakes up and wants to be the outcast of a whole city or even universe. No one just wakes up and wants to be what strikes fear in the hearts of hundreds of innocent people. They don't put all that energy into making costumes and clever destructive devices because they think it's cool. They definitely don't spend their time risking their lives fighting the heroes that are against everything that they are doing because they're bored. There has to be a motive. The thing that causes an ordinary person to change into a blood-thirsty villain is what a thing that I like to call, "Magneto Syndrome". Yes, I am talking about the guy that wears the silly helmet and can control anything made of metal. Anything. He is in fact, one of the most powerful villains because of this power, but his ability to gather others to his side is just as powerful. But my question is, "Why does mister metal-bender hate normal humans with such passion?". I mean he really, REALLY, hates them and he does an excellent job of showing it. Well it all starts in his early childhood and i will explain that later in the blog, but after going through what he did, he justifies what he is doing. Although he is about wipe out an entire city, he legitimately believes that what he is doing is for the greater good. This makes him all the more dangerous and harder to stop. Villains with Magneto Syndrome are one of the most dangerous and most damaging villains in the world of good vs evil. How you can you get across to them and get them to see that what they are doing is wrong? Better yet, how do you do you accomplish that while dodging a freight train or blocking a thousand bullets; Courtesy of Magneto, the master of metal. Good luck with that.

Why Villains?

Just like every other boy in their earlier years,I was fascinated by the comical world of good verses evil. For some reason I was attracted to the more personal heroes and villains like Wolverine and The Joker. I loved their powers and what they could do and the action that they performed, but I also wanted to know their back rounds. What caused them to be this way and how did this transformation affect their lives? As I became more interested in reading and writing, I became more interested in the back rounds of the villains that we see in every action movie. It was strange because everyone usually leans towards the heroes side and they talk all about the hero, but I was paying close attention to the villain and how he acted and asked questions. There is always a story behind the villain. There is no child that is born evil or born for the purpose of causing mayhem. There is ALWAYS a significant event that kept piling up and up until it turned an ordinary person into a monster. Realizing this makes me connect more with the villain and understand his mind. So I made this blog for anyone who shares my interest of going deeper into the world of villains or anyone who is interested in comic book characters. This is, The Villain's Backbone. Prepare to be entertained :) http://static.reelmovienews.com/images/gallery/batman-the-joker.jpg
